Accommodations Review:

Gorgeous resort! When you walked in, the smell from Boma permeated
the lobby. Everything was new and nice (of, course). I hated
to leave! |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Good Disney Club special offer. Also wanted to try it out. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
3421, off the lobby overlooking the zebra savannah. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
The only con was that the locations the animals tended to
congregate were not near our room. Otherwise it was close to
the lobby, elevators, and pool. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
What's to say? It was quick and painless. The ratio of CMs
to guests is exceptional. When we arrived at 10am our room was
already ready. The Front Desk people were very helpful. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Transportation was smooth and effortless, although it is a
fair distance away from MK. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Didn't eat at Boma or Jiko (we had a very sick child). The
Mara food court was nice, and I snuck out one night to the Victoria
Falls lounge for dessert. The desserts were off the Boma buffet
and they were exceptional! The atmosphere at the Victoria Falls
lounge was very relaxing and comfortable. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
The pool was nice, though it could have been themed better. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering
This Resort?
|
Take time to enjoy the resort, and spring for the savannah
view; its worth it. |
Other Comments:
|
Overall, the staff at the AKL was great. Our youngest had
a medical emergency and they really were very supportive. It
was a great experience and it was hard to leave. |
