Accommodations Review:

Stayed in Savannah room. The room was excellent and the view of
the animals great. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Phoned Disney direct for rates at Dixie Landings where we have stayed
before and got such a great rate that we could not refuse. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Room No. 2284 with Savannah View. Room location was a bit of a trek
to lobby, pool and eating but was not a problem. Room was slightly
larger than moderate resorts but fittings etc were as you would expect
from a new hotel -- immaculate. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
Room location not on main savannah but saw all the animals except
Zebra. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Arrived at 12:00 noon and room was ready. Checkout was no problem.

WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Used to go to MGM and Downtown. Never waited more than five minutes. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Used Mara for breakfast and snacks etc. They changed the arrangements
for serving whilst we were there. At first they delivered to
table but after the third day you were issued with a pager, both worked
OK. Ate at Boma where we had probably the best meal ever in Florida
(this was our 5th time). The food was truly fantastic although the
wine was moderate, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Did not eat at Jiko. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Pool was fantastic although not very deep. It was never crowded
but neither was the hotel. The slide could have been bigger / better. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
I would recommend a Savannah View and eating at Boma. |

I would say that the lady who cleaned our room was fantastic. Every
day she had made animals using towels and left them in our room. |
