Accommodations Review:

I was very impressed with our accommodations. Everyone was very nice and check in took only 5 minutes. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but that is due to the fact we checked in 2 hrs early. We spent that time looking around and having a snack in the food court. The room wasn't any smaller than the hotel we stayed at the year before called the Record in Kissimmee. It was definitely worth the extra $$ and we stay on property each time we visit from now on. I would like to try the All Star Sports next. Especially like the way you can purchase things at the theme parks and they will deliver your package back to the front desk at your hotel.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Simply put, we chose the All Star Movies for budgetary reasons. I am a single mom and cannot afford the others. It was a stretch to pay $105. But it was worth it.

Room # and Location Description:

We were at the Toy Story Section. I cannot remember the exact room #. Room was very clean and the maid service made it interesting to return to the room nightly. She would take the souvenirs bought and arrange them differently every day.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

We were in a good location. We just had to walk out of our door and we were right beside a sidewalk that took us directly to the buses without having to go through the Food Court/shopping/check in area. Saved time!!

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check in and Check Out took approximately 5 minutes each. Great Service.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Busing was decent. The only thing I didn't like was by the time the bus got the All Star Movies, it was already packed and standing room only. This didn't happen all of the time but it was a bit of a downer. Another downside was the buses drop you off way too far from the gates of the parks. After a long day of walking miles and miles it was tiring to have to walk all the way back to the bus stop. I may take my rental car to the parks this next time (July 2001) and use my free parking privilege and try it that way.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Food court was good. Of course it was pricey, but we have to remember where we are. Good selection of food, for example, Cheeseburgers, pizza, chicken, pasta, stir fry, desserts, drinks, etc.

Pool Description / Comments:

Pool was one of the biggest I've ever seen. It wasn't overly crowded either. It was good to be able to get in the pool and cool off before heading back to the parks. Clean as well! Every time I walked by there was a lifeguard on duty also.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Look at a map of the property and decide if you want to be in a room closer to the buses. Some of the rooms are a bit far from the bus stop.

Other Comments:

I wish it were a bit more economical (I know, wishful thinking).
