Date(s) of Stay:

Dec.27-Dec.30

Standard Room / Studio

Accommodations Review:

The room was very colorful; and the old Fantasia poster fit in well with the section we stayed in.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We were looking for a deal on a hotel; but we wanted to stay within Disney grounds.

Room # and Location Description:

Our room was located in the Fantasia themed area. It was close to the Lobby, store, food court area.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Pros: I like being near to the main building of the hotel.

Cons: The giant hat (a huge replica of Mickey's from Sorcerer's Apprentice) smelled very badly of a sewer. We came to call it the "crap hat" Also, I wish that we could have stayed in the Toy Story area, as it had better themeing to it

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check-In was a little slow, however our luggage was taken care of very well, and taken immediately to our room. Check-out was better, and quicker, as we had already verified the charges to our credit card.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We found the transportation to be great. It was so convenient to not have to worry about a car. However, you need to remember that it is not possible to get from 1 hotel to another directly, therefore you need to attempt and find the quickest way.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We ate at the Food Court frequently, being that it was the only source of food at the resort. It was very good, with a wide range of selections.

Pool Description / Comments:

It was too cold for us to swim at the time of our visit. However, the Fantasia pool, as well as the Mighty Duck pool have very nice themeing, and were very colorful

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Don't be fooled by the word "budget", this hotel is very close in quality to others that I have stayed at for a higher price. It is definitely worth the saved money to stay here. Besides, who sits around their hotel all day anyway? Get out there and go to the parks!

Other Comments:

I recommend it highly. Just avoid that "crap hat!"
