Accommodations Review:

The All star music resort was a surprisingly pleasant experience. I had previously always stayed at Dixie Landings (editor's note, now Port Orleans Resort Riverside), which is a little bit more expensive, and has more bus stops, and food choices.

However, this time our motto was to save money, so we chose the The All Star Music Resort. But I am proud to report that this Resort met all of our needs. We stayed in the Calypso section, which was the closest to the Intermission food court, and bus stops.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

To save money

Room # and Location Description:

Calypso section

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Near the pool, and also close to the food court which was a plus, top floor though, so we had to walk up a flight.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Easy and fast, we got there early but got our room anyway.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Great

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

All in all the Intermission food court had a great variety of things to eat. I enjoyed the Cajun flair to the food at Dixie Landings, but the All star resort was still satisfying. Breakfast here was perhaps my favorite meal. You could order something real heavy like an omelet, or bacon and eggs etc. Or they also had muffins and pastries, and fruit. I also had a pina colada at the bar outside the pool that was excellent.

Pool Description / Comments:

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Yes of course you have to walk a little farther from the bus stops to the main entrances, but walking was good exercise for my group, and it wasn't unbearable. All in all it was a great place to stay and a great was to save money. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you are looking to save money or not.

Other Comments:

I'm still partial to Dixie Landings and the beautiful plantations and bayou buildings there, but I was not at all disappointed with the All Star Music Resort.
