Accommodations Review:

Nice room with two queen beds and decent storage space. Could have used more drawers, though. I asked for and got a full balcony. Our view was of the bus stop and we had no noise with the sliding door closed.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Because it's right next to Epcot and it's a deluxe resort. And I haven't ever stayed there before. The Epcot location is wonderful for our totally adult group.

Room # and Location Description:

#2608. Take the stairs from the lobby and go all the way to the end of the first hallway. We were the last room on the left.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Great location for the stairs to the first floor and also to the lobby.  But it was on the way to the lobby. We heard so many families talking outside our door in the morning. We are not morning people and a room further out would have been better. But it was a quick walk to the ice machines and the lobby and everything else. It just wasn't for our group.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

I had a CM "earning her ears". I knew more than she did. I asked the right questions, though. This was during check-in.  When I came back for the room number, no problem. Check out was express and nothing was wrong with the bill. Totally trouble free.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Easy walk to Epcot which we really liked. I didn't like the boats to MGM at first but quickly changed my mind. They aren't the fastest in the world but they are efficient.  Took the bus to Magic Kingdom once and it arrived within 10 minutes (one had just left). You do share transportation with Swan/Dolphin/Yacht Club/Boardwalk so be prepared for multiple stops.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Cape May Buffet for dinner cannot be beat if you like seafood. But even our one non-seafood eating person loved it. No characters but the two kids in our party had a good time. You get to color on the paper tablecloth.

Pool Description / Comments:

Stormalong Bay is awesome but noisy and crowded at times.  The quiet pools are nice and, well, quiet. You can easily spend a couple of hours at Stormalong Bay if you have kids.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Not all rooms have the full, sit down balcony. Some are standing room only so if relaxing after or before the parks is a priority, make sure you request a full balcony.

Other Comments:

We loved the convenience to Epcot. We like to just stroll around World Showcase so the walk was great for us. I liked the Beach Club and I'm glad I stayed there but I'm not sure this ranks in my top three.  But I would stay there again if the rate was reasonable.
