Accommodations Review:

The room was in good condition. We stayed in Jamaica. House services did on excellent job tending to our needs. We asked for extra blankets & pillow. we were on the ground floor with a courtyard view.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

CBR is a home away from home for us. This was our 5th visit to the CBR.

Room # and Location Description:

Bldg 46 in Jamaica. Several building in that area were being re-roofed during our visit. This created a little problem finding our way around the resort. The room was becoming a little stale in appearance. It was in need of a little updating...but nothing to really complain about!

Room Location Pros & Cons:

This is one of the better locations. The building is closest to the bus, only one building from the bridge across the lagoon. We are returning in January 2001 and have requested Jam. again.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check in was a little slower than in the past. But it was a Friday around noon, one of the busier times! Checkout was a breeze.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We rented a car because of the WDW Marathon and the need to get to the Wide World of Sports several times over the weekend. We didn't need it. As usual, the WDW bus system got us where we needed to be in a timely manner. We also used the Special WWoS/Marathon busses for events there. I stil cannot recommend a rental car unless you are planning to leave property for a reason.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We only use the OPR for breakfasts and snacks. I think WDW ruined the original concept of a food court when they created the full service restaurant!. They took up over half of the inside eating area for a restaurant that sees limited use. In general, the service in the food court was good. the food quality was OK. We liked lounging around the area late in the evening listening to the live Caribbean music and watching the Epcot fireworks.
