Accommodations Review:

Carribbean Beach Resort was very nice. There were 2 double beds which provided plenty of room (2 people had adequate room on 1 bed). A/C worked wonderful on those hot Florida days. Maid Service was always exceptional and room was very clean. We didn't experience any trouble. We had though asked for a room closer to the main pool and restaurant and unfortunately did not get this. We were located in Trinidad South which I believe is the furthest away from any of the food courts or main pools. The pool at Trinidad South was nice....quiet most of the time. The main pool really wasn't as big as we expected it to be any way. Very quiet...although they were doing construction to the building 35 in trinidad south....we never heard any of it. Fortunately we had got a room in building 36 as they were originally going to put us in building 35 but the room wasn't clean when we checked in so they moved us. We checked in at 11am and our room was ready for occupancy at that time.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We were looking at the moderate priced resorts and were stuck between the Carribbean and the Coronado. Travel Agent suggested the Carribbean.

Room # and Location Description:

Trinidad South 3636.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Very secluded from the main pool/ food courts/ bar. It was very quiet and nice regardless. However we had requested a room closer to the food courts and did not receive one. Very huge complex! Trinidad South is the farthest away from anything. Highly suggest rental car or you will have a long walk!

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Long lines for check in at 11am. Luckily it only took 15 minutes to go through whereas we figured it would take at least an hour. Everyone was very pleasant.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We had a rental car which helps. If we didn't have the car I would think that being at this resort would be very perplexing. I know that Disney has transportation all the time available to the resort guests and we saw them very frequently....but it is very hot and humid and alot of people were waiting for buses around the resort which were already full when the bus got to their stop. They had to wait for specific buses going to the destination of choice. And the resort itself is very big....after walking in the parks all day you really don't feel like doing it at the resort too. I highly suggest a rental car if you are staying at the Carribbean. We were originally going to just use Disney transportation and changed our minds at the last minute in the airport. I'm glad we did. It really makes getting between all the parks so much easier. There is alot of self control over what you choose to do with a rental car. Disney transportation runs an hour before the parks open to an hour after they close. So if you chose to go to Downtown Disney and stay out til 1 or 2 am, you would have to pay for a taxi back if you didn't have the rental car.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to eat at any of the resorts food areas. Ate mostly at the parks. We probably would have ate at the resorts food courts if they had been closer to our room.

Pool Description / Comments:

Main pool was too far away to go back and forth to in our minds. We used Trinidad south's pool and found it just as nice.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

RENTAL CAR! It is a life saver!

Other Comments:

Have lots of fun! This was our first trip to Disney and we loved it!
