Accommodations Review:

Decent lodging. I travel frequently and considered the hotel to
be average. The rooms were clean, service was prompt and friendly,
and the atmosphere lived up to the resorts name. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Pool access for Shades of Green Military package. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Aruba - poolside |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
Close enough to bridge/food court/main pool to feel like it was
easy access. Also liked small quiet pool just outside our door while
the children napped. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Check in - No lines - no hassle. 15-20 minutes total because they
ask lots of questions. Check out was a breeze with "express" service.
They brought a final bill to my door and I kept my room keys. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Busses were frequent, but I always felt like we had "just missed"
the bus for the place we were going. 10 minute average wait. A posted
schedule would have been very helpful. We also had a car available
so we tried both options. Seemed like POV was better for some parks
but WDW transportation for Magic Kingdom was a winner. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
OK - nothing to brag about. Prices seemed a little higher than they
needed to be. Hot Dogs were almost $6. Full service restaurant did
not have an extensive menu. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Great. Pool at Aruba was quiet and clean (kind of cold). The main
pool worked well for the children in our group. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
I felt like it was worth the money to stay on a Disney Resort. Easy
access to parks was wonderful. Hotel had plenty to offer for all ages. |
Other Comments:
|
Lake area was limited so boat rental was not so much fun. |
