Accommodations Review:
|
Having stayed at various WDW properties including All Star Music
& Movies/Fort Wilderness Homes/Port Orleans and Grand Floridian,
I was a bit disappointed in the lack of Disney detail. The size
of the room was great and access to monorail justified the room
rate, but overall I would elect to stay at a moderate priced resort
if The Contemporary was the only Deluxe property available on the
monorail line. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
It is my goal to experience every WDW resort and that was next
on the list! |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Room number unknown - location was the garden wing. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
The location was fine. We were on the first floor and had a small
balcony that faced the tennis courts and also afforded us a view
of evening fireworks. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Check in was fine. I did leave my credit card number to pay for
the room and received daily messages toreturn to the front desk
to settle up the bill. After waiting in line for an average of 15
minutes eachd day, I was given the same information - that payment
would be collected upon check out. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Excellent. Monorails and busses were both efficient. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
The prime Time Cafe is a real hit or miss each time that we have
visited. We have had incredibly, hysterical visits as well as very
mediocre experiences - and let's face it the food is definitely
NOT the draw. We never actually dined at The Contemporary other
than a quick snack at the fast food counter. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Too hot to lay by the pool when we visited. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Enjoy the proximity to the monorail and don't be disappointed
in the lack of Disney finesse. |
