Accommodations Review:
|
After staying at the Contemporary, I cannot imagine staying at any
other Disney resort. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
My family stayed there when I was a child, and I remembered the
breathtaking view of the fireworks and the Magic Kingdom. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
We stayed in room #4541 which was located on the 9th floor of the
tower overlooking the Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian, and the
Polynesian. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
Everything about this room was spectacular! The view was unforgettable.
We could even lie in our beds at night and see Cinderella's Castle
all lit up. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Checking in and out couldn't have been any easier. All of the cast
members treated us like royalty and told us that they were "sorry
to see us leave." |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
In my opinion, the Contemporary has the best transportation in Disney
World. You can leave your room, take the elevator downstairs, and
get on the monorail all without even going outside! |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
We ate at the California Grill. Although quite expensive, it is
located on the top floor of the Contemporary and offers great food
with an amazing view. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
We did not use the pool because it was mid March, but we enjoyed
relaxing in the hot tub late at night. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
If reserving a room at the Contemporary, make certain that you request
a Magic Kingdom view and a room on the highest floor possible. |
Other Comments:
|
Very friendly staff! After delivering our suitcases, the cast member
from luggage services offered to take our picture on the balcony with
the Magic Kingdom in the background. Housekeeping left us our own
copy of the Orlando Sentinel at our door each morning. |
