Don't waste your money unless you like walking. Also room service
and room wasn't to standard. Most Holiday Inns put the room to shame.
|
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Discount price on medium resorts as part of Disney Club. From the
web page this resort looked like the best pool in the medium class. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
#4225 Casitas 4. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
Room was on the other side of 14 acre lake. Took 5 minutes or more
to pool, restaurants or lobby. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Check in nightmare. First non smoking room smelled like bar room.
No help with bags even to second room. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Didn't use bus since we had free parking with rental car. Drive
car to everything except Magic Kingdom. Then take the bus to avoid
the Mono rail or Ferry delay. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Didn't use. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Don't stay by quiet pools since no policing of use. We had college
kids whopping it up outside our room at all hours of the night. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Don't stay here. Spend the extra money and stay at one of the Top
resorts like Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge especially in
summer when humidity is hard to get out of your room with outside
entrances. |
Other Comments:

Cleaning service was terrible. We got out of our room around 11:00am
one day so the lady didn't leave any clean towels and set the alarm
for 6:00AM the next day. Last two days our room didn't lock. Make
sure you check it often and pad lock your door at night. We were given
smoke room and had to move our own bags and pick up our key back at
the lobby even though it was raining. Managers just talk to you but
never follow through on anything. Definitely not the Magic we were
looking for. I hear there's still a little Magic in Las Vegas. |
