Accommodations Review:

Everything worked and was in the room, the blow dryer and mirror was a big plus for the women in our party!

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

It was the newest of the Moderate Resorts and I love my Mexican food! I figured I could get my fill of nachos and burritos.

Room # and Location Description:

Gosh, we stayed in the Casitas Section 4. The closest to the bus stop. Room number was 4126, a quiet pool view.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

I really liked being semi close to the main building, the check-in, food court, and stores were really nice. I did notice however that the further we walked from the building the dirtier it got. I'm not saying that it was dirty, dirty just that I noticed a difference than what was at the main building.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Easy check-in and check-out. The staff were extremely nice especially when a party member lost her room card, which we needed for Early Entry. They gave us a big smile and printed her another card and told us to have a Disney Day!

WDW Transportation Comments:

The buses ran pretty regularly, only in the morning did we wait for 30 minutes for the Animal Kingdom bus. Other than that I was really pleased with the service.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

The food court was cool, I liked the open market feel. I tried the burritos and nachos the second night we were there. Descent but I have had better for the we paid for the food. The waiters were attentive and made sure are cups were always full.

Pool Description / Comments:

We did not get a chance to check out the main pool but from what we saw from a distance was really nice. The quiet pool outside our room looked nice but it was around 50 degrees the entire trip and the wind was a howling! So swimming was last on the TO DO list.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

I would try staying in the Cabanas or Rancheros. They did not seem so "hotelish" like the Casitas. More Disney themeing with the other two. I would definitely choose a room near the main building, especially when cold weather sets in. This resort is HUGE. We saw maybe 25% of the entire resort up-close but did get a nice over view thanks to a nice bus driver.

Other Comments:

I would definitely stay here again if Disney did not have so many resorts that I have yet to stay at. The Cast Members were always friendly, even at 11 pm at night. I will always stay at a Disney Resort just for the great bus service, early entry, and nothing beats that nightly "welcome home" you get from the hotel staff CM's, that's what the magic is all about!
