Accommodations Review:

Very nice good sized room. I enjoy the theme of this hotel.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We had stayed here in 1998 and enjoyed it very much. the reason we picked it then was because of the pool and playground area, and it was a new hotel. Also the first time we came to WDW we made the mistake of staying of property, never again.

Room # and Location Description:

Building 5-Casitas, 4th floor. Don't remember room number.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

This area is quite a walk to just about everything. We enjoyed the morning walks to the Pepper Market, very peaceful. But if you are not into walking try to get closer to El Centro.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

No problems here what so ever. We arrived at about 4pm and waited in line about 5 minutes. My son went to watch a Disney movie in the lobby, that helped. Had early checkout feature so didn't have to go to the lobby.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We prefer to rent a car so we didn't use the WDW transportation. Have used it in the past and found it to be great.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Love the Pepper Market. Lot's of variety for everyone. It's fun to see them prepare your food right in front of you. Tried Maya Grill for breakfast, OK, but liked the Pepper Market better. Price at Maya Grill was a little high.

Pool Description / Comments:

Great pool. HUGE. I like the fact they supply life jackets for little ones. The slide is quite fun also. The hot tub is great too, BIG. Kids play area is nice too but my son stayed mostly in the pool.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

If you like quiet this is a great place. Lot's of trails for walks or jogging. Hammocks for just relaxing. Depending on how much walking you like to do check out the layout and request a room accordingly. This place is big.

Other Comments:

Cast members were very nice no matter what time of day you stopped and asked questions. We needed to change nights for MVMCP and had no trouble. The cast member actually gave us a few tips on which night would be best and what to do once we got there. Overall great place.
