Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
My friend is a member of the Vacation Club at Disney |
Room # and Location Description:
|
We were in the newest section, which was once the Commodore House,
overlooking a large fountained-pond, ground floor. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
At first, wanted an upper floor, but was very happy, since we could
feed fowl from pond each morning. The music from take-out counter
greeted us each morning. Absolutely NO cons here. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
We were given another villa at early check-in. On bus to Grand Floridian
(for tea) I saw area where our room was and did not like it (facing
away from resort/overlooking murky water). A quick call from GF solved
the problem immediately and graciously. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
No problems here. We didn't mind waiting for designated buses. After
all, we were on vacation! |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Olivia's serves delicious food, as does the fast food counter, Goods
to Go. On site pool bar is wonderful as well. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
When we were there the water problem was at its peak. We noticed
the water could have been cooler and fresher, but we can't complain
when the Floridians had to suffer every day. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Definitely try it. You can get all the excitement at the parks.
When you want to relax, stay at the prettiest and spacious villas
on property. A++++ |

I like to stay near the large pool and restaurant. Just request
one of the building #s and you usually get what you want. |
