Accommodations Review:

Your standard moderately priced Disney room. Very clean and a great
place to use as base for a Disney Vacation. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
After several trips to Disney World and after visiting each of the
resorts, Port Orleans shines as simply the best place on property. |

Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
This resort is tightly built, so no building is particularly far
from the main service building. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Great service at check in. Be sure to take advantage of the baggage
handling. Let someone else cart your luggage around for you. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
The bus service is excellent. Buses pick up and drop off at Port
Orleans before servicing Dixie Landings. Also, the boat ride to Downtown
Disney is one of the best kept secrets on property. |

Pool Description / Comments:

A fun pool, especially for a late night swim. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Reserve your room early, at least a year in advance if not more.
The resort is smaller than most on site and fills up quickly. And
it fills up quickly because there is no better place to stay on site. |
Other Comments:
|
You probably won't be spending enough time in your room to really
enjoy the water views so consider getting a standard view for a little
less per night. Disney has the best looking parking lots of any resort
anyway. You can always ask at check in if a room with a garden or
water view is available as a free upgrade. The earlier in the day
you arive, the more likely they can fulfil your request. |
