Accommodations Review:

Very nice!!! The resort was very small so we weren't far from anything!! We had a great maid, her name was Maddie!!!! My Dad lost his contact and 2 days later she found it for him. Also she always arranged my brothers animals and cleaned the room very nice. The room had an average amount of drawer space and 2 sinks. The bathroom was rather small but that is ok. 2 average size beds.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We knew to stay for 16 days we would have to stay at a Moderate. We had heard great reviews so on our trip in September 1999 my Mom and I went to go check it out one day. It's very nice and decided we would book it for 16 nights when we got back home. But we found a good rate for CR later on so stayed for 8 nights.

Room # and Location Description:

We were in Building #3 and room #3131. It is the 2nd door when you 1st walk up to Building 3. That is one of the reason it is so close to everything.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Pros-great location, never heard anyone else, great maid, average size drawer space.

Cons-only one I can think of is the tub was a little small but that is not really a con.

I would love to stay there again!!!

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

We walked straight up to the counter and checked in. Our CM Anne-marie was very helpful explaining EE and everything. We already knew that but if I was a 1st timer then I would have understood. Checking out was the same.

WDW Transportation Comments:

The 1st few days it was just my Mom and I so we used the buses. It took us almost an hour to get to Blizzard Beach and back to PO. We had to stop at AK both ways so they could switch drivers. Only thing complaint we had. Other than that it was wonderful. Longest we waited for a bus was at TTC-which was a 15 minute wait for the bus t Downtown Disney. Tiffany Town Car was excellent.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We ate at the food court in PO. Excellent food and pretty quick service. All the places we ate at the parks (El Pirata, Pecos Bill's, Backlot Express etc.) all had good food and we were very satisfied.

Pool Description / Comments:

Very cool pool!!! The themeing is great and the pool is a pretty big size. The slide was pretty cool. I think it is aimed more towards younger kids.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

We didn't request a room and we were blessed with a great room!!! It doesn't matter where you are because they are all great rooms. We didn't hear any noise at all.

Other Comments:

Very New Orleans feel. I went to New Orleans for the 1998 Sugar Bowl when the Texas A&M Aggies played Ohio State Buckeyes.  It was an awesome city and I would love to visit again. When I stayed here I felt some of the New Orleans flair. Only thing different is that PO is A LOT cleaner....lol
