Accommodations Review:
|
The room was fine for two of us and was comfortable. Everything
was in good repair , there were a few slight stains on the carpet
and the shelf in the vanity area but the walls appeared newly painted,
the border paper seemed new and the furniture was good. Bedspreads
while undamaged or stained seemed a bit tired. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
I let Mom pick a moderate after our three nights at the AKL |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Rooms 6321 and 6322 smoking rooms on the third floor. It was very
quiet. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
The top floor was quiet and the food court was just far enough away
for us to be away from people traffic but close enough to be an easy
walk. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Check in was simple and fast. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
We used the bus on our one early entry day at The Magic Kingdom.
Morning was easy. Coming home after the parade and fireworks was horrendous
though we did have a sense of humor about it. Port Orleans FQ and
RS bus stop at the MK is the farthest away. You pass by all of the
All Star resorts bus stops first. The line to go back PO stretched
passed two of the All Star lines and part of the third one. The lines
for the All Stars were moving fast but PO must have somehow got way
behind. We waited half hour to forty minutes. Once they got a few
busses in though the line moved fast. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
We had only desserts (which were very good) at the food court. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
There being only the one colorful pool here means it was busy. We
found a table a bit farther away that was nice. Only swam once here.
It was fine. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
It is pretty and the food court is close in but after this first
stay here it is still my least favorite Moderate. For some reason
it seems a bit more motel like, and less resort like, than the other
three. Be aware that if you plan to take the boat down the river to
Downtown Disney during the day, it only comes every forty minutes.
Seeing as how there was a half hour until it came, a decent amount
of people and I know the boats aren't large, we took the car. |
Other Comments:

We had a very nice stay here. I would certainly recommend this Disney
moderate resort to anyone interested. I would personally promote the
others first though. |
