Accommodations Review:

Very nice and clean! Truly captures the essence of New Orleans.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Price range and location.

Room # and Location Description:

We were in room 5334 (building 5, floor, room 34). This was close to the pool, but on the other side of the building. We were close to everything at the resort, but in a very quiet location.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

As stated above, we were close to the pool, food court, laundry facility, etc. Far to walk to late at night after a long day of walking - but any room would be at that point!

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Very efficient and pleasurable. We were luckily selected as the resort's Millennium Family of the Week, which offered us some freebies that turned out to be quite usable. These freebies included refillable mugs for the food court, Disney pins with our names printed on them, beach towels, a stuffed Goofy for my daughter (they called us the night before to ask who her favorite character was), and a choice of a one-hour rental of a pontoon boat, canopy boat, or bicycles. We chose the pontoon boat and had a ball on it!

WDW Transportation Comments:

Transportation is great. One drawback is that about 75 percent of our pickups went on to the Dixie Landings resort stops before going to the parks. This probably added a total of between 5 and 10 minutes. Returning from the parks, however, we were dropped off first.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Food court is clean and efficient. Didn't really spend much time here. No longer a restaurant at the Port Orleans.

Pool Description / Comments:

Pool is awesome! Heated, clean, and fun.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Try to stay in a building close to all amenities.

Other Comments:

I would recommend this resort to anyone. Wish I was still there...
