Accommodations Review:

This was our first trip to Disney and we were very impressed. We're from small town America so we like PO's size - we weren't overwhelmed. We ate at Dixie Landings one night and it was so crowded. After a long day at the park, it was nice to come back to a quiet atmosphere. The rooms were great - very clean, very nice.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Price and availability

Room # and Location Description:

Not sure of room or building number, but about in the middle.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Pros - not too far from parking since we had to carry our own bags. Cons - walking to room after long days at the parks.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

We arrived around 8 am and we immediately allowed in our rooms!

WDW Transportation Comments:

We had one bus driver that was great - he'd always get everyone singing Christmas songs on the bus. Sometimes, other bus drivers just seemed annoyed. The PO stops at the parks were always farther away from the park entrances than other hotel stops.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

The food court was great and the cashiers were very friendly. The food was great and most of the kids meals were plenty for an adult.

Pool Description / Comments:

The pool was so pretty. My kids were disappointed, though, because even though it was heated and steam was coming off the pool, the temperature when we were there was only 25-35 degrees & we wouldn't let them swim.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Although it's crowded everywhere at Disney, this resort is less crowded and more relaxed than most. My kids also liked the game room in the evenings. The resort is beautiful and sooooo clean. Great atmosphere.

Other Comments:

They got a frost one night while we were there that damaged a lot of plants and flowers. When we left our room at 7 am they had replanted during the wee hours of the morning. We never heard a sound and everything was beautiful.
