Accommodations Review:

The resort seemed very quiet but understandably so considering the recent events. Our room was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff who did a great job of cleaning up after us for 10 days!

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We stayed at Dixie Landings during our last visit in 2000 and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back. We love the theming and being able catch a boat to Downtown Disney.

Room # and Location Description:

Building 27 in Alligator Bayou. We had a 1st floor corner room facing the walkway and the river.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

We loved the location... seemed to be reasonably close to everything. We were concerned about being right next to the stairs but didn't notice any additional noise or traffic.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

10 minute check in upon arrival, 10 minute check our upon departure. Staff was very helpful.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus either going to the parks or coming back.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

The food courts prices seemed to have gone up a bit since our last visit in 2000. Boatwright's was wonderful... good food and excellent service.

Pool Description / Comments:

Great pool area. We were without children on this trip but still enjoyed hanging out watching the fun. I must recommend the Gator Tail drink at the poolside bar!

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

We have stayed at all the other moderate resorts with the exception of Coronado Springs and this is by far our favorite. The theming is great and the amenities offered give it a definite leg up on the others in the same class. We will definitely stay here again

Other Comments:

Like many others have mentioned, we noticed some cutbacks both in the parks and at the resorts. Even so, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay!
