My wife and I thought that Dixie Landings was just wonderful. Well
laid out very easy to get around. SO VERY QUIET!! Very peaceful. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

It was highly recommended by our travel agent. She was very up on
DL and we are now too. |

Building 28. Corner room with 2 windows. Very nice and very roomy.
It was a great room. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:

All pros. The corner location was really nice and the landscaping
around the building was just immaculate. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check in was incredibly easy and very quick. The Cast Member who
checked us in was VERY helpful and VERY informative. Checkout was
a nightmare. We are going to do a better job of keeping up with the
running bill next year. Getting the Credit Card cleaned up was just
horrible. BUT, we were able to finally get it corrected. |
WDW Transportation Comments:

The buses make it SO EASY. October means low numbers and quick buses.
The MK on Friday night with the fireworks was the longest wait. Over
an hour. Normal wait was about 5-10 minutes. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We really liked the food court and the restaurant there. The majority
of meals that we had were package plan meals around the resort. |
Pool Description / Comments:

Very quiet. Heated, makes for enjoyable time at night. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?

Just enjoy the resort. It's beautiful and you are at WDW. Beats
being at home or even worse....work. |
Other Comments:

Take the Sassagoula River Taxi to Downtown Disney after dark. It's
a peaceful trip and very relaxed. The view of Downtown and Pleasure
Island when you first come out into the lake from the river is incredible. |
