We stayed in alligator bayou, building 24.The room was very clean
and roomy. We have 3 kids so the trundle bed was a perk for the oldest
one. The maid service was amazing, she even tucked in the kids' stuffed
animals and laid out their pajamas. Actually, DXL was the best part
of the trip as I was very disappointed with my visit to the parks. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Basically, just because you have 3 kids, it does not mean that you
can afford the deluxe resorts. |

Building 24. A bit of a walk to the bus stop, but a very nice walk. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:

We were right by the pool and right next to the parking lot. A ways
from the check-in, but saw no real need to go there anyway. It was
cheaper and easier to keep a cooler in our room. |

Took about 45 minutes to check in, then was told our room wasn't
ready anyway. Somewhat annoying after driving 15 hours |
WDW Transportation Comments:

I think the return bus from the parks only picked up once an hour
and they were ALWAYS crowded! Right on the money though when it came
to getting to the parks from dxl. |

Thought it was too pricey for a family so didn't bother. |

Didn't seem crowded, kids loved it. And the pool by our room was
always quiet |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?

Take the time to wander and take in the scenery, its well worth
the time. |
