Accommodations Review:
|
Although our room in the Bayou section was very clean, we found
the decor dark and a bit depressing. Much preferred the Mansion room
from our previous visit. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
We enjoyed this resort on a previous visit and the price was reasonable
with a MKC discount. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Room 22 in building 26, Bayou section. Not conveniently located.
Long walks to get anywhere. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
No pros, all cons. Not a good location. Long walks to parking lot,
bus stop, food court, you name it. After 3 days we were happy to check
out. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Fast and helpful, no problems. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Bus transportation seemed fine and we did not find the multiple
stops to slow things down all that much. The boat to DD is a bonus,
but take a jacket! |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Food court was over-heated, crowded and a bit untidy. Food quality
was average. Convenient but nothing to get excited about. We did enjoy
our meal (dinner) at the full service restaurant. Service and food
quality were all very good. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Did not use. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Location is everything at this resort. It can make or break your
experience here. Check in as early as possible to avoid the less desirable
buildings. |
Other Comments:
|
If long distance walking after a long day at the parks is not a
problem for your feet, you might enjoy this resort. Beautiful grounds
and many nice amenities. Take some time to rent a boat and explore
the canals. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again. We'll be
looking for a smaller resort. |
