Accommodations Review:

The room had an actual strange odor, like it was 'damp'. I think
it was from the rain that the area just had. It was bearable, though. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Liked the Southern feel |
Room # and Location Description:
|
9567, Parterre Place bottom floor |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
It was a brisk walk to the busses, but the pool closest to us was
extremely quiet. The entire resort was nice and peaceful. The boat
ride to Downtown Disney was a great perk as well. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
We checked in late night, so none of our room requests were met
(not expected to be, though, checking in at 12:00 AM). Express Checkout
was great. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
It seemed like we would have to wait forever for our bus, and the
Port Orleans guests were also sharing the bus. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
The food court has great options for vegetarians. If you are a vegetarian,
you can get a request made to order and always have the children's
selections. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Nice and quiet, but we never used the main pool. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
The rooms are a good size, but when you arrive late night and have
requests they will not be met. We actually ordered an additional refrigerator,
but it was not in the room and had to stay up later for the refrigerator
to come from guest services. |

We rented a car, but the car didn't start on the second day. Guest
services held our key and got the replacement key for us. They also
called a cab for us, even though we were going off-property. The cab
driver even said that the cost was pre-paid by Disney, and was never
on our bill. When we asked about paying at guest services later, they
told us not to worry and they were just helping out. Gotta love Disney!!! |
