Accommodations Review:
|
We were on the river side of the resort. The grounds really gave
you the ol' south feel that you expect and were constantly kept up.
One of the nicest surprises was that you could take a ferry to Downtown
Disney from the resort. It cruised through mangrove swamps and let
you see other resorts on the way. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
I always liked the Tom Sawyer feel of the south and I thought that
was best reflected in Dixie Landings. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
The room had two queen beds and two sinks. There was a large TV.
that received all the Disney channels. Hmmmmmm.... |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
It was easy, in the first few days, to get lost on the grounds.
After a long day walking at the parks going from the bus stop to the
room was always too long. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
There were some long lines but they moved quickly. Also there was
accommodations for small children to keep entertained while adults
checked in. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Very timely and comfortable places to wait. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Boatwrights was a charming and quiet spot for dinner. Great She-Crab
Soup!!! |

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Get a map of the grounds and mark out where the bus stops are, where
the lobby is and where your room is. |
Other Comments:
|
For the price and amenities I can't think of a better resort to
stay in. |
