Accommodations Review:
|
The room was fine. The location was not so great. Quite a hike from
the room to anywhere! Stroller needed to walk to bus stop, food court,
pool area, and even parking lot. Because it was our first (but not
last) trip to "the world" we did not realize that room location is
such an important factor, especially in such a large and sprawling
resort. The landscape is lovely. It was very quiet and peaceful. The
themed pool area was very nice. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
Because of the size of our family, 2 adults, three children, and
one toddler, this is the only "moderate" price resort on property
that can accommodate more than 4 people. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Building 28, don't recall exact #. It was on the second floor (no
elevators here). Luggage and stroller hauling tricky. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
If you like to walk, this was a wonderful location! If not, request
location close to your priority. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Fairly efficient, not overly friendly. They do not volunteer much
in the line of "tips." Gave the kids color books and crayons.
Small play area and video in the lobby. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
Buses are very regular and efficient. Drivers were friendly and
helpful. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
Only "dined" at the food court. Food edible. Service fast. The refillable
mugs (for $10.00) were a mixed blessing. How many mugs of soda can
one carry while pushing a stroller? |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
Pool was great. Kids loved the little water slide and the kiddie
pool. Hot tube was nice, but crowed in the evenings. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
Educate your self thoroughly before selecting any on or off property
resort. They do have one for everyone, but no one but you will be
able to decide was is best for your family. Consider location. Do
you have your own car? Do you want a really cool pool area? How many
people in your party? Is cost a big factor? How much time will you
send in your room? Do your kids need a nap break during the day? Plus
what ever else you can think of! |

For our family, Fort Wilderness Cabin will be our resort of choice
next time (September 2002) They sleep six, have separate bedroom (for
naps) and kitchen. This appears to also be a sprawling type resort
but you can park your car right at your cabin. |
