Accommodations Review:

We did not get our preference for a non-smoking room in Magnolia Terrace. Instead we got a smoking optional room in Oak Manor which was the only room available. Hair dryer, iron and coffee pot are not included and have to be requested from housekeeping. Not satisfied with how our requests were handled even though trip was booked over a year in advance. The room was a standard room you get in moderate resorts but was themed well. It was on the third floor which made it very quiet but we were near the swimming pool.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We never waited long for our bus at main bus stop. Wait is longer at outer bus stops. Bus stops at theme parks are always the farthest away from park. Because you share bus with Port Orleans you will stand during busy times.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We basically ate breakfast and a few snacks in the Cotton Co-Op Food Court. The selections were basic and not very tasty. The general condition of this lounge was not very clean with liquids spilled all over the drink bar area and the garbage cans were usually overflowing onto the floor. Need to pay attention to the cleanliness of this area.

Pool Description / Comments:

The swimming pool area was very clean and quiet. It was big enough to accommodate guests during peak season.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Other Comments:

The check-in staff are slow and not ready to resolve problems that might arise. The cleaning staff do the minimum amount to get room ready sometimes not even sweeping the floor. The grounds are well kept and maintained. There was exterior painting being done to the resort when we were there and the smell of wet paint was everywhere. Will never come to this resort again. We had stayed at Coronado Springs last year and had a much better Disney experience.
