Accommodations Review:

From reading other reviews left here, it seems like we lucked out! Very clean, although the room seemed a little "tired". ( needed new bedspreads, etc) Didn't get any special treatment from housekeeping but they did a great job otherwise.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

Friends and relatives had positive experiences here, and did a lot of research and thought this would fit our plans best. (lots of quiet "down time", naps for the kids, a break for all of us from the sensory overload of the parks)

Room # and Location Description:

I think it was 9803??? We were in Oak Manor, first floor, facing the courtyard.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

It was the perfect location, we thought! Reasonable walk to bus stop, pool ( which we didn't use but once - son broke his arm the week before we left!) and short walk to food court and store.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Piece 'O' cake! Short line ( about 10 minutes) got to our room within about twenty to twenty five minutes from pulling up. Golf cart took us and our luggage directly to room. Did the quickie check out and they stored our stuff until it was time to leave for the airport. Flawless.

WDW Transportation Comments:

I wish they had more buses! Hello, it's a h-u-g-e resort and it shares buses with PO. It was fine punctuality-wise, but the crowd to come home..... and having to get a stroller on to a crowded bus was NOT fun for us or the other passengers. Drivers were either very quiet or VERY outgoing! They even helped us with the stroller a few times.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We ate at the restaurant only once, it was good but kind of pricey for our family. Food court was like at the mall or something, it was fair food, good for quick lunch or dinner. Dining area needed attention more than once but for the most part it was fairly tidy.

Pool Description / Comments:

Well, it looked fun! Like I said earlier, we didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as we planned but they never seemed jam packed and were clean.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Bring your own stroller if your child is under 4! Even though we had a great location, we still walked a LOT getting around this resort. Take a bike ride and enjoy the landscaping. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Other Comments:

I'm currently planning our next WDW vacation and we are definitely staying here again.
