Accommodations Review:

We stayed in Alligator Bayou and absolutely fell in love with it! We were lucky enough to end up with a room very close to the main building. We were right next to a quiet pool (but never noticed any noise). The landscaping here is gorgeous!! Our room was spacious enough - even though it was just the 2 of us. The only problem we had was the lack of bathroom counter space. The toilet/shower part of the bathroom was also quite small, but still suited our needs just fine.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We never waited too long for a bus. They seemed to be constant. There were times though that it was standing room only and we shared with Port Orleans. But it still wasn't too bad though.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We ate at Boatwright's for almost every breakfast and dinner. The food here was wonderful and I'm a VERY picky eater. I thought the prime rib and mashed potatoes were to die for!! The theming and wait staff were incredible. Everything right down to the silverware and how its served!!

Pool Description / Comments:

We never actually swam in the pool (we went to Blizzard Beach), but one day while we did laundry we went and sat out at the quiet pool and watched all the kids swim. The pool was nice and big and not crowded even though it was peak season! We also walked around the main pool one day and my husband was upset that he didn't even know it was there (I did hee hee) because it looked like so much fun! Again, as with the rest of this whole resort, the main pool theming was incredible!

Other Comments:

If we could afford it again, we would not hesitate to stay here!! We fell in love with this resort as soon as we turned up the drive!! The staff were wonderful. We didn't have children or stuffed animals, but the housekeepers still let us know that they were there! One night we came into our room and were startled by what seemed to be a man in our room. But when we turned the light on we saw that the housekeeper had turned out wastebasket over on our bed and wrapped my coat on it and buttoned it up. Then they had fashioned a towel to look like a head and put my husband's baseball hat and sunglasses on it!! We got a picture of it and it's a wonderful memory we have!!
