Accommodations Review:

We loved this resort. The theme was wonderfully carried out, the staff attentive and we had absolutely no problems with any aspect of our stay.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We did not want to rent a car. The Poly seemed to have the most transportation options. The pool looked fun to my eight year old cousin who went with us, and the theme seemed very vacationy.

Room # and Location Description:

Tahiti, Room # 2009. Very close to the Transportation and Ticket Center. The building was also close to a beach I never saw anyone on. We walked all over the resort and never felt that anything was too far away. Our room was lovely, clean and we saw no signs of wear.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Close to TTC, a nice beach, and the quiet pool. A longer walk to the themed pool, but not to bad. It was really too far to walk just to refill our mugs though, the soda machine was closer.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

We didn't check in until 9:00pm, there was no line. We didn't use a credit card, so we didn't have to check out.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Wonderful!! We never waited more then ten minutes for anything. Being next to the TTC was nice also. For example after the Hoopo De Doo everyone else had to take a bus to Downtown Disney and than transfer to a resort bus. We just hopped on the bus to the TTC and walked to our room.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

'Ohana was nice.  It could have been more fun but we ate there on September 11, and everyone was trying to be upbeat, but it was hard in light of what had just happened. The food was good though. Kona Cafe was fine, the desserts were out of this world. We went back before we left just for more dessert.

Pool Description / Comments:

We pool was fun and never seems too busy. Christa always found a little girl too play with so we didn't mind the crowd. The quiet pool was always that, quiet.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

Be sure you try to slow down and enjoy all the hotel has to offer. We had as much fun at the resort as we had in the parks.

Other Comments:

Christa loved the Neverland Club. I was nervous leaving her because she was the only child there. It turned out she was one of three for the evening and the other two kids were babies. She still had fun the staff kept her busy and it was a highlight of her trip.
