Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We have stayed at this resort for many years. We absolutely love the atmosphere, location, and hospitality!

Room # and Location Description:

I can't remember the exact room #, but we were on the third floor of the Hawaii building, we had a deck and a perfect view of the magic kingdom, and the nightly electrical water pageant.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

The Hawaii building is a wonderful building to stay in. Having the concierge lounge a few steps away was very convenient. The room location was perfect, we were right in the middle of the long building.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Both Check-In and Check-Out are easy with the concierge service. It gets rid of having to wait in line at the Great Ceremonial House to get checked in. Check-Out was just as handy.

WDW Transportation Comments:

We rented a car, which made it a lot quicker to get to places such as Disney's Wide World of Sports and Typhoon Lagoon, which do not have buses going directly too them. We love being just steps away from the monorail. It is a quick way to get to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

The Kona Cafe is a nice place for lunch, or a light dinner. 'Ohana has a great atmosphere. The Cast members working there are wonderful...as is the food. I had gotten very sunburned the day we ate there, and a cast member brought me out wet towels to put on the sunburn. I was VERY impressed!

Pool Description / Comments:

My brothers and I preferred the un-themed pool. There never seemed to be many people in that one. We were always able to get a table or some lounge chairs. I think that the themed pool is beautiful. The rocks and lush surrounding are breathtaking. We found this to be the pool to take dips in late at night, when it wasn't so crowded.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

I would encourage anyone who is thinking about this resort to stay there. It is a beautiful place, and it is so close to everything!

Other Comments:

The best part about the Polynesian is the atmosphere. It always feels like you are a million miles away from reality. The smells and sounds in the Great Ceremonial House are something that makes me look forward to returning every year!
