The rooms are beautifully designed and remind you of the west. All room have balconies.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We selected the Wilderness Lodge because on our honeymoon we went to the hotels that my wife wanted to see. When we drove up to entrance she absolutely fell in love. Of course it was Christmas time and when we entered that was all she wrote. Now we always stay here. Except this December we are staying at the Grand Floridian. That will complete all the Disney owned on-property hotels. And YES...we are already making plans for the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Room # and Location Description:

2318...it's on the left side of the resort. Our balcony looked out over a pond with ducks and at night we could see the fireworks from MK.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

Wonderful....Only con was wish room was a few floors up. Great Pro was very short walk to the snack shop and refills of drinks.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check-in was the best we ever had. They at first had our room on the other side of the resort and once we saw location, realized the construction of villas would bother my wife and her migraines. Check-in cast-member was very understanding and got us the above mentioned room and also sent up a welcome basket of cheese, crackers, a of bottle of wine, and aspirin.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Wonderful...You can take boat to Magic Kingdom and then catch monorail to Epcot.  Buses go everywhere and are on time, except bus to marketplace.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

Restaurants are entertaining and serve a wide variety of food.

Pool Description / Comments:

The pool is breathtaking.....arguably the second best pool of the resorts.  Pool starts out as a little geyser in the lobby and flows into a stream toward a waterfall that leads to the pool and run-off of pool runs towards another geyser that erupts every hour.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

If I was looking for the most romantic, scenic, and relaxing hotel in the WORLD. It's hands down the WILDERNESS LODGE. IF you'd like any more info or would like any other questions on anything Disney feel free to e-mail me.

Other Comments:

Wife and I vote this our favorite hotel on property. At Christmas time it is the best decorated hotel on property. Romance level is over the edge here with fireplaces placed around the hotel and quite sitting areas.
