Accommodations Review:

The hotel as well as our room was beautiful. Every night when we came back from a park the maid left us something special (a swan made out of towels). We had a courtyard view. Our room overlooked the pool and lake.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We've known people who have stayed at the hotel and gave it great reviews. We also have been to the hotel on other trips just to look around and we loved it.

Room # and Location Description:

#6104 It had the basic hotel furniture it in. It was a courtyard view and had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs outside.

Room Location Pros & Cons:

The room was far away from the elevator but was very close to the food court.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

The check in and out was very easy and the cast members were very helpful and polite.

WDW Transportation Comments:

Horrible. The worst I've have ever seen a Disney. It even made me complain which I hate to do. Everyday may family and I waited at least 45 minutes for a bus then the bus would pick up at the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian and then sometimes go to the transportation center. The boats were also late and caused us to miss a breakfast reservation. It made our trip very frustrating.

Restaurant / Lounge Review:

The food court was small but good. The Whispering Canyon was good. The dinner though is a little high priced for what you get.

Pool Description / Comments:

The pool was great. It was never crowded. There was a cast member checking room keys. This was to stop anyone that was not staying at the hotel from using the pool. It worked and was great.

What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This Resort?

The resort is great, so it the pool. It was nice renting bikes and riding over to Fort Wilderness. Beware of the transportation though. Like I said before it was the worst I have ever seen.

Other Comments:

There is a hidden Mickey challenge. It was very hard but a lot of fun to do.
