Accommodations Review:
|
The resort was everything we expected and more. We have stayed on-site
at all levels of accommodations and would definitely return here. |
Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?
|
The themeing. |
Room # and Location Description:
|
Room #4004 - woods view with balcony. End room at the farthest end
of the resort towards the lake. |
Room Location Pros & Cons:
|
With a little one, having only one neighbor was wonderful. Could
see some of Fantasy in the Sky from our balcony which also looked
down on a little pond that had ducks, herons and otters in it. Can
think of no cons. |
Check-In / Check-Out Comments:
|
Check-in was a breeze. We had no wait but also look at our travel
dates - we seemed to be the only people checking in while everyone
was making a mad dash out. We were also fortunate to check-in before
3:00pm and have our room immediately available. We used express check-out. |
WDW Transportation Comments:
|
After reading many negative reports on the transportation we were
very surprised with service. We only waited more than 5 minutes on
one occasion. We felt that the transportation was on par with other
resorts and better than some. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:
|
We used all locations except for Artist Point. We at breakfast,
lunch and dinner at Roaring Fork Snacks and found the selection adequate
and we loved the daily specials. Portions were big. We ate breakfast
at Whispering Canyon and enjoyed the meal and wished we had fit in
lunch or dinner as it smelled wonderful. We had a late snack at Territory
Lounge and enjoyed the food and service. Trout Pass Pool Bar bartender
went out of her way to make our little guy feel special. Would highly
recommend dining here even if you are not planning on staying at the
resort. |
Pool Description / Comments:
|
The pool was wonderful and not terribly crowded. The setting is
very nice also. Towels were initially hard to locate but that is the
only complaint. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
We would highly recommend this resort. We have stayed on-site for
our last 5 visits and we would definitely return here. |
Other Comments:
|
Many things to do in the hotel should you get a rainy day. Look
for hidden Mickey's, shop, eat or sit and relax in the lobby all without
having to go outside. |
