International Flower & Garden Festival - Photo Tour - Part IIIPhotos by Barbara & Brian Bennett In Part I, Barbara covered the park's partierre, lotus wall, rose walk, and container gardens! In Part II Barbara discussed topiary, Victoria Gardens, hanging baskets and towers, and more! Here on MousePlanet, The Magical Gardens of Disney section has a page on Topiary that includes information on free form, shrub, sphagnum, and standard form topiary. It also has a "Topiary Reference Guide" (a list of companies that sell plant material and supplies) and a list of topiary gardens that you can visit. Here's a collection of topiary photos from around Epcot. First, a bunch from Future World and the "bottom" end of the World Showcase Promenade.
Note that the frame of the Spaceship Earth Topiary is hardly covered at all. It takes years for many shrub topiary to completely fill out their frames, although they are often put on display even before they're completely filled-out.
The next couple of pictures came from the Canada Pavilion. Bambi and friends, appropriately enough, are located in a North American forest setting.
These dried-flower topiaries were loaned to Walt Disney World from Disneyland Paris.
This was also on loan from Disneyland Paris. Aladdin and Genie are usually on display in the Morocco Pavilion...
...While the dragon below appears in the China Pavilion.
