Tomorrowland - Photo Tour

Photos by Brian Bennett (unless otherwise stated)

A Tour of Tomorrowland on the TTA | Indianapolis Speedway Area | Convention Center Area | Space Mountain Area

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland!  The pictures of this photo tour came from my own visits to WDW, but I've also tossed in some pictures by fellow MousePlaneteers and a few others from MousePlanet readers. All photographs will be credited appropriately throughout the tour, of course.

Space Mountain is in the very back of the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. Let's take a walk around the area and then make our way back to see the Mountain itself.

The Astro Orbiter lies in the center of Tomorrowland. Here's a view of the loading area (the mint green structure is the elevator that carries riders up to the third floor to the actual load area of the Orbiter. In between there and ground level is the loading area of the TTA, which you can see in the upper left hand portion of the photo below.

At the top of the whole stack is the Orbitron, a sort of scientific mobile for a really big kid.

Further back in Tomorrowland is the Carousel of Progress, a wonderful attraction that dates back to the 1964 New York World's Fair. Today the attraction has been restored to be quite similar to how it was presented in it's original form (although the final scene has been somewhat updated).

The Tomorrowland Stage is located between the Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain. Various performing groups are brought in, usually school groups and the like, for the crowds that gather.

One last picture of Tomorrowland... here's an imagineered tree. I personally think it's ugly as sin, but I suppose some folks like it.

I hope you enjoyed this little photo tour of the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland!
