Priority Seating / Reservations Comments:

We hadn't planned on eating at the Rainforest Cafe, in fact it was our first visit to the Animal Kingdom, and we were unaware that the cafe was even there, but after a long day at Animal Kingdom we decided to try it. This time, however, when we go on our vacation we are getting priority seating.

Time of Wait:

It wasn't a long wait, maybe 15 minutes at the most, and the gift shop adjacent to the cafe made the wait go by very quickly. It seemed we were seated in no time at all (considering the fact that we didn't have reservations.)

Food Review:

The food, while good, wasn't the highlight of my day. But I feel that is a matter of personal taste. The food was cooked differently and in a way that I'm not use to and that affected how much I liked it. For some people it wouldn't have mattered. (For example my grilled cheese sandwich had tomato grilled into the bread, which I am not used to.)

Service Review:

To be quite honest I didn't really pay that much attention to the service, as I spent most of my time soaking in the atmosphere and the things around me, but I do remember the person that seated us, and the waiter were both very nice, and the waiter did return at least once that I remember to refill our drink glasses.

Atmosphere Review:

The atmosphere made up for the average food, and was by far the highlight of the restaurant. I would visit this restaurant again simply for the atmosphere! The "jungle animals" and the "thunderstorm" are highly entertaining while you wait for your food, and we were seated by a fish tank, so I also got to watch the tropical fish swim as we waited, which made the time pass very quickly. Though the thunder, the animals, and the noise of all the people can get quite loud it's my opinion that if you wanted a noise free vacation you wouldn't have came to Walt Disney World in the first place. Sound is just part of the Walt Disney World experience. =)

Other Comments:

This is, in my humble opinion, a must see for everyone that visits Walt Disney World! My friend will be accompanying me next year on vacation, and it will be her first, and most likely last trip to WDW. When planning the restaurants and attractions we were going to see I immediately thought of the Rainforest Cafe. It's a great place, and I highly recommend it.
