No wait - we walked off the Maelstrom
Boat ride at about 4:30, and were seated immediately. |
Food Review: |
Having never had Norwegian food, we were
being adventurous. We quite enjoyed the buffet, especially the
venison and the salmon. We were cautious and ordered mac &
cheese (her favorite) off the kids menu for our 4-year-old, but it turned out to be unnecessary. She ate a lot of things off our
plates, barely touched her entree. |
Service Review: |
Great! We had just seen the Norway movie
at the end of Maelstrom, so we peppered Knut, our waiter from
Norway, with all kinds of questions about his homeland, and he
seemed to enjoy giving us the lowdown. He was very attentive, as
were the rest of the staff. |
Atmosphere Review: |
Somewhat dark, but Knut and the rest of
the server staff were quite upbeat, and kept it interesting. |
Other Comments: |
The dessert was GREAT, (I had the
chocolate mousse with a white chocolate sail that looked liking a
Viking ship) and our 4-year-old had the paint-it-yourself troll
cookie with cotton candy hair. The troll cookie itself is reason
enough to go back, but the whole experience was delicious and
fun. |
