We made reservations the night before for
a weekday lunch in the off-season, but didn't really need them.
Better safe than sorry in Epcot, though. |

Food Review: |
Having been to Norway a few times, I was
very curious about how the "authentic" food would be. I am very
pleased to report that it is quite authentic and quite delicious.
Some people may not like seafood (my wife among them), but there are
many other choices as well. The meatballs or pork in a
sauerbraten-like sauce were both very nice as well. But for me, I
love the different herring and salmon dishes. |
Service Review: |
We had a very nice server whose name
escapes me. Listening to the other servers, I think they were all
probably very friendly and more than happy to talk about their home
towns and country. |
Atmosphere Review: |
When we were there, right at opening (11
a.m.?), it was bright and cheerful inside. The Florida sunshine
brightens it up nicely. |
Other Comments: |
We used a small breakfast to get us
through the morning until we got to the buffet at Akershus. The
lunch held us until we left Epcot in the late afternoon. The friends
we went with had two kids, 7 and 5 years old, who ordered off the
kid's menu. They weren't too impressed by the buffet. But they loved
the paint-your-own troll cookie! And all four adults liked the
buffet.
