This was merely a mediocre meal. |
Approximate Cost:
|
$40 (but just for Barb, Allan, and I as
the three parties paid separately) |
Priority Seating / Reservations Comments:
|
We had them....very wise for a group of
that size at any WDW restaurant. |
Time of Wait:
|
I don't remember exactly, so it must
have been minimal. |
Food Review:
|
Grandma and Bumpa (Allan's name for
Grandpa) shared lasagna, Barb and Lyn shared an order too.
James had lasagna, but had his own. I had the special...a
serving of lasagna, fettuccini Alfredo, and linguini with a basil
sauce. The food was very good. |
Service Review:
|
The service was only average. The
waiter was slow and unspectacular (not bad, just not very good).
Also, I was disappointed that the meals were not split in the
kitchen and that we had to wait for the extra plates (twice...once
for salads and again for entrees). It's possible that the
size of our group affected the service. |
Atmosphere Review:
|
The atmosphere in this restaurant is,
in my opinion, a bit drab. It's very dark and ordinary, while I
expect that Italy is really light and airy (just my impression,
maybe I'm wrong and this is more "authentic.") We
did enjoy some passing musicians that played for awhile, but you
can only hear them when they are close to your table, since the
dining room is very open and large and tends to be loud. |
Other Comments:

Good food, average everything else.
(One last comment...the fettuccini Alfredo, of course, is
fantastic here, as you might expect!) |
