Food Review: |
We were looking forward to this
meal, as we had read many fine reviews for this restaurant.
Turned out to be the biggest disappointment during our trip.
Appetizers (mussels & seafood cake) were adequate, but
nothing to rave about. Main meals: filet mignon-very tender,
but in a tasteless sauce; and a selection of veal, beef &
lamb- not juicy, very dry, even though ordered as medium rare.
Desserts (crepe with fruit and berries; and cream puffs in
caramel sauce-were good. |
Service Review: |
Service was efficient, if somewhat
hurried, until you wanted the bill. We had hardly sipped our
wine before the appetizers arrived. No sooner had the
appetizer plates been cleared away, then the main meal
appeared. |
Atmosphere Review: |
Nice atmosphere-but beware of being
seated next to someone with small children who should be
dining with the tigers at the Animal Kingdom. Fortunately, we
did not encounter this problem, but people several tables away
were treated to someone else's children crawling over their
chairs to see the passing parade. |

I guess we just caught the three
chefs on a bad
day. |
