Food Review: |
Mmmmmmm. I went with my wife and a friend
who both eat like birds, so I got a little of everything, including
the $42 lobster my friend ordered. Fabulous! We all had the Cream of
Lobster soup, yum, and I had Halibut in a white sauce over linguine.
The drinks were not very strong but tasted good. I had an Abyss and
my wife an Octopus Juice. |
Service Review: |
Fast, friendly and courteous. Once the
place emptied out we were able to chat with our server, Linda, about
the giant sea turtles and other critters in the big tank. |
Atmosphere Review: |
We were lucky enough to get front row
seats next to the aquarium. Last time I was in the nosebleed area,
which is not bad, but this was better. The place was a little noisy
oddly enough, for the first 30 minutes, but after 9:00 it emptied
out and we had it all to ourselves. I love this restaurant. The
decor is gorgeous. I love the lighting which enhances the "I'm
underwater" feel. |
Other Comments: |
I had a cunning plan to have dinner
really late in order to be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll out of
the park all by ourselves after the Illuminations crowds left.
Worked perfectly. It's pure heaven walking through Future World on a
warm night with the only sound, the big fountain and the cheesy
upbeat Epcot music.
Magic. |
