Priority Seating / Reservations Comments:
|
Although my son-in-law made the
reservations for 14 people, when we arrived, they were not
prepared to seat us all together. Instead, they wanted to seat us
on opposite sides of the restaurant...where it would have been
impossible to even see each other, let alone speak. It took a
manager to arrange for us to have three tables side by side.
Initially, the "hostess" was quite rude. |
Time of Wait:
|
Our wait was extended due to the
unwillingness of the "hostess" to accommodate our large
party. We had to wait until they brought a manager. |
Food Review:
|
The food was quite good and plentiful. |
Service Review:
|
The actual service was adequate, but
could have been better. |
Atmosphere Review:
|
We enjoyed the character interaction. |
Other Comments:

We made reservations for and had
several other "character meals" with large groups..at
the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom (17) and at Hollywood
& Vine at MGM (19). We never had the problem of accommodating
us with proximity seating that we had with the Garden Grill. I
would think that the purpose of "priority seating"
reservations would be to prepare the restaurant to accommodate the
guests. Obviously, the Garden Grill did not. To add the rudeness
of the "hostess" created a very much less than pleasant
experience for us. By far, the best experience was the Crystal
Palace. |
