It had been raining in Epcot the day of
this meal, starting around 5:00. This apparently sent a lot of
people inside to eat, so when we showed up for our 6:00 PS, we were
told the wait would be about 25 minutes. As it turns out, it was
only about 10 minutes, so this was not really an issue. |

Food Review: |
Very pleasantly surprised. I had not
eaten here before and had heard it was good, but I was still
somewhat skeptical. As it turns out, my wife and I both had the
filet mignon and lobster tail (otherwise known "surf and turf") and
it was excellent. The béarnaise sauce that I ordered with it was as
good as any I have ever had. The beef and barley soup was also
delicious. |

We had a lovely server (Celine) who was
very nice and very helpful. We ordered wines by the glass and she
let us try several out before deciding what we wanted. She was very
friendly as well and she made the meal a delight. |
Atmosphere Review: |
I had been led to believe that this
restaurant is very dark, but it really is not. It is sort of down underground, and there are no windows, but it is not as cavernous as
I had heard. It is also not as big as I would have thought (it being
in Epcot after all - did not seem as big as Alfredo's or the
Moroccan restaurant). I generally liked the decor and tables,
although we had a lousy table ourselves (right next to the exit door
to the kitchen). I enjoyed this meal and our server so much,
however, that this did not even bother me that much. the M |
