Food Review: |
Excellent! Try the Canadian Cheddar
Cheese Soup as an starter. Very tasty even on hot days. I had the
Maple Balsamic Glazed Salmon. This was the best Salmon I have ever
tasted it was tender and moist not overcooked as frequently happens
with fish. My wife had the Rosemary Garlic Seared Chicken and reported
that it was close to being the best chicken she had ever
eaten. ( High praise, coming from someone that orders some kind of
chicken entree 90% of the time. ) |
Service Review: |
Very Good - Our server was from Prince
Edward Island we are from Massachusetts, on the coast, this kind of
made her a neighbor. We chatted briefly about the things we shared
in common, like cold, damp, miserable winters. She was very
attentive and efficient in serving our table even though she also had
a table with 10 to take care of. |
Atmosphere Review: |
This place is small in comparison to
other restaurants in World Showcase. They do a pretty good job at
making it appear larger than it really is by the use of mirrors. I
think the theme behind this place is that you are visiting an old
pub or bistro located somewhere in either Quebec or Montreal. |

We both agreed that we would visit this
place again. We were somewhat surprised at the quality and quantity
of the food. We have been to Canada (the country) on several
occasions and were not overly impressed with any of the restaurants in Montreal or Quebec City. We have not however tried any
restaurants other than those we encountered in Quebec Province. The
chefs must be from one of the some of the other Provinces.
