We were seated immediately (it was 2:45pm
when we ate there). |
Food Review: |
The food was excellent--one of our
favorites. We ordered the Combination Appetizer for Two which
consisted of a Beef Brewat Roll (puff pastry filled with seasoned
beef and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar--I know, I know, it
sounds weird to have cinnamon and powdered sugar with beef, but it
was excellent), Chicken Bastilla (pastry filled with chicken and
almonds and also sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar--it was excellent
as well), and Jasmina Salad (cucumbers and tomatoes in a vinaigrette
dressing and a tomato-y kind of mixture that tasted kind of like
spaghetti sauce). For our entree's I ordered the Vegetable Couscous
and my sister had the Shish Kebab and we both shared. We had wanted
to try one of their desserts but were too full. |
Service Review: |
Service was adequate. We were hot and
thirsty when we came in and the server had a hard time keeping our
drinks filled. |
Atmosphere Review: |
The restaurant is very beautiful in an
exotic way. When we first sat down the genie from Aladdin was making
the rounds among the tables. We also got to see a belly dancer who
picked a few women out of the crowd to dance with her. |

Would definitely eat here
again. |
