Food Review: |
This wasn't our first choice, as we don't
eat meat, but I'm an Anglophile and we happened to be in that part
of Epcot when we got too tired/hungry to look for something else.
And I had promised my daughter one meal of fish and chips during our
stay. They were great, by the way, and available on the children's'
menu. My husband and I had the herb-crusted salmon, which was a
little bit overcooked but enjoyable. Oddly enough, the accompanying
vegetables were undercooked (contrary to the British reputation for
cooking veggies to death) Now we like our veggies lightly cooked,
but tender - these were not, but of course we ate them anyway! There
were delicious rolls. The salad was good, with an interesting
Stilton dressing. We were too full for dessert, but they sounded
good, the most notable being a big Spaceship Earth made of chocolate
- it looked like eating the equivalent of a couple of chocolate
bars. |
Service Review: |
Friendly, helpful. There was a bit of a
wait for the food. The lemonade they brought came with an apology
that it was so weak and a promise to bring more once the machine was
changed - and so they did. |
Atmosphere Review: |
We were indoors right next to the pub
section - as it was getting very lively in there it was noisy, but
entertaining. We kept pretending we were at the Queen Vic (we're
EastEnders fans) |

Vegetarians be warned - if you are strict
vegetarian, or vegan, there's nothing for you here but salad. But if
you can eat fish when necessary, as we do, you can manage here. They
need some more variety in the menu. After all, I know there are
vegetarians in
England! | | | |
