We ate at this restaurant for lunch. We
had a PS for 12 noon but it was not necessary, as the restaurant
was barely 1/4th full. |

Food Review:

Excellent! The food is prepared at your
table on a grill. I have had shrimp at many WDW restaurants and
have been disappointed, but the shrimp here was the best I have
had at WDW. My wife had steak and also rated it the best steak she
had on our trip. |

Atmosphere Review:

The chefs prepare the food right at
your table so it is an unusual dining experience. Depending on
what chef you get, some of them can be real hams. Our 4 year old
boys got a kick of watching their food made in front of their
eyes, and flipped onto their plates. Also you sit at a table of 8
people, so it gives you the chance to meet and talk with other
people at your table. |

Teppanyaki is a novelty restaurant in
that the food is cooked right in front of you at your table. I
expected maybe the appeal of the restaurant was the show and not
so much the food, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of
the food. The kids meals for $5 at lunch included a dessert and
drink. If you go to this restaurant, try to go for lunch as the
portions are almost identical as the dinner portions at almost
half the price. I also ate here for dinner in Sept 98 and also had
an excellent meal. This is our favorite restaurant in the Epcot
World Showcase area. |
