Discount
If you have a Disney
Club membership (formerly the Magic Kingdom Club), then you can use it for discounts at
selected restaurants and for specified seating
times only!
American Express /
White Glove Discounts
If you use your American Express card, the official
card of Walt Disney World, you can receive a 10% discount from
food purchases. Again, this discount is not good
everywhere. In fact, it's only offered at a limited selection of buffeterias. Once more, this is only good during a
certain time period: from 2:00 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m.
Please show your American Express card BEFORE making
the purchase or you might have problems getting the
discount.
Cast Member Discount
Employees of the Walt Disney Company receive a 20%
discount on food items at the full service restaurants. Although
this does not apply, in general, to the counter service locations Tusker
House (at the Animal Kingdom) does offer a CM discount. All CMs
are automatically charged a gratuity, also.
Military Discounts?
Nope, afraid not! You'll have to be content with the Disney
Club (formerly the Magic Kingdom Club) discount.
"Early Bird" Discounts?
Some restaurants offer dinner specials for people that are seated
before 6:00pm. The actual timing (some restaurants that do this
require even earlier seating) and the menu that is available is subject
to change. In fact, there's never any guarantee that this will be
available, but you should ask (especially when you're making priority
seating arrangements).
Senior Citizen
Discounts?
There are no specific discounts
for senior citizens at any of the restaurants, and generally there are
no senior citizen menus available, either.
